Department of Biotechnology and ABLE had partnered together to organize a workshops at Delhi & Bangalore aimed at biotechnology start-ups on 23rd and 25th of January 2012 respectively. The workshop was co-ordinated and conducted by Dr. Shailendra Vyakarnam (Director, Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning, Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK) and an
Eminent team of entrepreneurs and CEOs like Dr. Anand Anandkumar( Chairman & MD, Cellworks),
Dr. Premnath Venugopalan( Head- NCL Innovations), Ms. Deepanwita Chattopadhyay (MD & CEO, IKP Knowledge Park), Dr. Vijay Chandru (Chairman, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer), Mr. Kaushik Gala( Associate Principal- Accelerator India), Mr. Shyam Suryanarayanan,( CEO- C-Drive).
The workshops was highly interactive and deliberated on how the biotech industry could learn to
foster an innovative culture within the organisation and the transition them from being a service
oriented into an innovative product led company. The workshop covered topic like IP, Business strategy, Market for Growth, Building management team etc.
The workshop was attended by 25 delegates at Delhi and 35 delegates at Bangalore |
