- Only Undergraduate Final Year B. Tech/ B.Sc - Biotechnology, Food technology and Chemical engineering students or First Year Post graduate students can participate.
- There is no participation fee.
- Each college can nominate only one student for the contest
- First 15-20 participants only will be selected from each zone.
- The participant selected by the college has to be nominated for the event through the Nomination Form in the website
- Three topics will be sent to the nominated participant, three days prior to the event. Out of which, the organizers will decide the topic for the participant to speak 1 day before the event. Participants have to prepare for all the three topics.
- Each participant gets a time limit of five minutes to speak.
For outstation participants:
- Participant’s travel costs will be reimbursed only upon submission of tickets/bills. Please note that the amount of reimbursement shall be limited/equivalent to the cost of a 3 Tier A/C train ticket fare only.
- Participant’s accommodation request should be sent in advance to the organizers for consideration. The accommodation is subject to availability at the host college.
- In the event of cancellation of the program, due to any unforeseen circumstances, the program will be held at a later date. The colleges/participants will be informed about the same.
- This event is organized by Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE) and supported by Novonesis.
Prize details:
All the participants would receive a participation certificate. The first three winners from each region get rewarded with cash prizes.
1st Prize: INR 20,000
2nd Prize: INR 15,000
3rd Prize: INR 10,000
The event is conducted at all the four regions in India. The first two winners from each region get selected to compete in the national finale round to be held in Bengaluru.
