India is one of the emerging centres for start-ups in the Tech and Life Sciences space. Supported by forward looking policies of the central and state governments several hubs like Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, NCR etc. are gaining momentum. India’s ease of business ranking has improved rapidly in the past few years and is expected to improve further. The levels of FDI have gone up substantially, underlining the attractiveness of the Indian growth narrative.
In order to showcase India’s growing Innovative capability and strength in Life Sciences, ABLE plans to hold the 3rd edition of INNONATION INDIA meeting in San Francisco, USA. Eminent industry leaders from India, USA and other countries will deliberate on various aspects of Innovation.
INNONATION plans to address this area through its Aggregator platform. The aim is to pass through 100 companies via Innonation to build robust Indian biotech ecosystem. The first INNONATION was held in Boston on June 5, 2018 on the side lines of BIO 2018. Over 100 attendees with 9 venture funds and 3 PEs had attended. The second
INNONATION was held in Philadelphia on 6th of June 2019 on the side-lines of BIO 2019. Over 70 participants had attended.
Kiran M. Shaw, Chairperson ABLE and CMD Biocon Limited and several Indian Industry leaders will lead the event. The attendees will be from Institutes, Companies, VCs, Investors from various hot spots in the US and other countries.
