February 07, 2020: Last date of Submitting Concept Notes & Executive Summary (Each college can send a maximum of TWO (2) entries.
February 12, 2020: Top 12 teams will be shortlisted for the finals.
February 15, 2020: Commencement of webinars
February 29, 2020: Top 12 Shortlisted Students teams will make 15-minute presentation to the jury over a teleconferencing facility
March 12-13, 2020: Announcement of winners and prize distribution during ABLE BioEconomy Conclave at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

ABLE will be conducting BEST 2019 program with the support of its member companies on a shoe-string budget this time. It is mainly to maintain the continuity of the highly acclaimed BEST program before the end of the financial year, 2019-2020.

Nationwide ‘Call for Proposals’ in the area of life sciences that has commercialization potential will be announced through various communication media.
Form a Team of Five with a nominated team leader. The team could be interdisciplinary with at least THREE of the members pursuing life science courses. Two others could be from other disciplines. Each team member should upload college ID Cards and Personal ID Proof (Aadhar Card, Voter ID etc). Shape your bright innovative business ideas into a Concept Note and upload it on http://www.ableindia.in/best2019/. Concept Notes will be evaluated for scientific temper, Innovation and commercialization potential. The applications would be short-listed by Juries.
Shortlisted 12 teams will make a 15-minute presentation to the jury over Skype on 29 th February 2020
The Top 3 winning teams will be invited to the Prize ceremony day during BioEconomy Conclave, Bengaluru, scheduled for March 12-13, 2020 at the J N Tata Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science (IISc)
