The Center of Excellence (CoE) Space Tech Foundation, Bangalore is organizing a series of webinars under "Space to Society” along with Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE) as the Biotech Industry Knowledge Partner, and Helogen Corporation as the Industry Partner. This initiative serves as a high-level think tank and collaborative platform designed to bridge the critical gap between the space sector and mainstream industries specifically focusing Pharmaceuticals, Semiconductors, and Advanced Manufacturing.

We are pleased to invite you to join the 2nd webinar titled “The Role of Space-Station in Scaling Bio Research to Manufacturing and Global Collaboration” on 24 April 2026 from 05:00 PM to 06:30 PM (IST).

This session will focus on how space stations, particularly emerging private orbital platforms, are enabling the transition from microgravity research to scalable, commercially viable biomanufacturing. The session will examine the role of platforms such as the International Space Station and next-generation commercial stations like Starlab as critical infrastructure for translating bio-research into manufacturing. It will highlight how private space stations are improving access, repeatability, and commercial feasibility, while showcasing proven biological experiments conducted in microgravity and their translational potential for real-world applications. The webinar will also explore opportunities for early participation from India’s biotech and pharmaceutical ecosystem, outline pathways to align current research with future space station programs including India’s long-term ambitions and discuss the role of global ecosystem enablers in facilitating seamless access, partnerships, and international collaboration.
