AMTZ opens Davos gateway for more investment inks MoU with Euro Alliance

Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), in its press statement, has announced that 2 major players evinced interest in the field of radiology and energy.

During the 3-day World Economic Forum summit being held at Davos, Switzerland, Chronos Imaging represented by Robert Piconi and Energy Vault represented by Bill Gross held discussions in the presence of the IT minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Lokesh with Dr.Jitendar Sharma, MD&CEO, AMTZ and Special Chief Secretary Dr Smt Poonam Malakondiah.

Chronos Imaging is a US based company which focuses on the development, manufacturing and distribution of diagnostic imaging medical devices and solutions. Chronos imaging has already set up an X-ray Tube facility at AMTZ. At the first instance, X-ray tube will be manufactured with its assembly for both General Radiography and CT machines by 2020 from the facility established at AMTZ. Further this facility would aid to manufacture customised X-ray tube for the dedicated machines used in various Science, Engineering, Paramedical and Other Industries namely: Agro, Metallurgy, Space, Electronics, Nano-technology, Veterinary, Pharmacology, and Security, etc.

Energy Vault, an Idealab company that develops renewable energy storage products, brings an experience of over 30 years in technology innovation and turning breakthrough ideas into practical and scalable solutions. Energy vault has proposed to bring its expertise to set up renewable energy facility at AMTZ

 

Euro Alliance SA signs MOU with AMTZ

At Davos, an MoU has beensigned between Euro Alliance SA represented by Chairman & Managing Director, Rakshit Mehta and AMTZ headed by Dr.Jitendar Sharma,MD& CEO, AMTZ in the presence of Dr Poonam Malakondiah, Special Chief Secretary of the Department of Health, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Euro Alliance SA has come forward to enable two-way market access. Under this arrangement, medical devices manufacturing in Andhra Pradesh will get a major boost and also support manufacturers at AMTZ to reach Swiss market.

AMTZ has been generating significant interest from many international firms in the field of medical technology during the 3-day Summit being held at Davos. 2 major international firms, Chronos Imaging & Energy Vault have already shown interest to set up their base at AMTZ in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

To strengthen the state economy, manufacturing plays a significant role. It creates wealth for the common population by creating opportunities for the local youth. It creates wealth for government and the companies that are establishing their base in Andhra Pradesh.

The team from Andhra Pradesh headed by IT minister of the state, Nara Lokesh has been at the forefront attracting investments to the newly conceived state of Andhra Pradesh during the 3-day World Economic Forum Summit being held at Davos.
