Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Innovation and knowledge protection is emerging to be a key driver in businesses, very few start-ups/academia have the proper information and understanding of IP related matters. In view of this, BIRAC is organizing its third IP Law clinic in association with FIIT, Delhi on 15th January, 2019, at BIRAC Office where all BIRAC grantees will get an opportunity to have one-to-one interactive and solution-based approach on IP related matters.

The proposed clinic will assist BIRAC grantees in a wide variety of legal matters including IP Protection, commercialization strategies and operational issues.The IP Clinic will respond to innovator’s need for ready access to basic legal information about their intellectual property rights at early stages of development and will allow BIRAC to scout the technologies/IP ready to be considered under BIRACPATH. The IP Law Clinic will help to create a pipeline of projects to support the innovative technologies for IP & Technology Transfer support under BIRAC-PATH scheme.
