India’s Minister for Science & Technology and PMO, Dr. Jitendra Singh, unveiled a new Logo of ABLE to symbolize the organization’s forward-looking nature on the occasion to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Association. Dr Singh did the honors at a glittering function held in India Habitat Center, New Delhi on April 7.

ABLE President, Mr. G S Krishnan, traced the efforts that went into the designing of the new ABLE logo. The Association had crowd sourced the new design and got inputs from a large number of designers across the country. The final logo was then developed by the creative team of Global Communications function of the Biocon Group.

Mr. Krishnan said the new logo very succinctly symbolizes the infinite futuristic applications of Biotechnology. Also, the ‘a’ and ‘b’ are merged to connote the coming together of ideas and thoughts of the Indian Biotechnology companies to pave way for a new world.

He explained that the Digital Blue & Aqua Blue gives it a fresh feel.
