Novotech bags Frost & Sullivan Asia-Pacific Biotech CRO of the Year award at ASCO

Novotech, the Asia-Pacific CRO, has again won the Asia-Pacific CRO Biotech of the year awarded by leading analyst firm Frost & Sullivan. This is the fifth year Novotech has been awarded the top CRO for the region which focusses on practices in clinical research for biotechs.The announcement was made at the ASCO Annual Meeting (May 31 - June 4, 2019McCormick Place, Chicago, IL).
According to Novotech, the group has conducted about 250 projects in Oncology studies and recent Asia-Pacific data shows the demand in the region will continue. From the 4,700 trials in Oncology initiated in 2018 worldwide, at least one country in Asia Pacific was involved in 46% of these trials (2,180; source GlobalData).
For these Oncology studies initiated in 2018, patient recruitment rate (expressed as median patient/site/month) for trials involving the Asia-Pacific was over 20% higher than worldwide median (1.17 p/s/m vs 0.94 p/s/m; source GlobalData).
